We often hear the same questions from all our tenants, which is why we’ve created a list of some of our most popular FAQs.
In this blog post you’ll find out about just some of the essential things every tenant should know before renting a property (…especially if it’s one from us!).
1. How do I apply for a home with We Love Renters?
It’s easy!
All you need to do is fill out our simple VIP Tenant Application form! This gives us all the information we need to find you a home that’s perfect for your needs. This will include the area you want to live in, how many bedrooms you need and your budget.
We use the application form to match you to our available homes, saving you time from surfing the web!
We have first access to some of the nicest rental homes in the area… and we want to share them with you.
2. Why should I choose We Love Renters?
Our fantastic team are here to give you an amazing service, one that you will not find elsewhere.
We believe that all our tenants should be treated fairly and respectfully.
That’s why all of our landlords are vetted extensively by us and have agreed to the highest of standards when it comes to your home and the customer service that we provide.
We give tenants the peace of mind to know that they can stay in their home long term (all our landlords are committed to long term rentals).
We also offer all our tenants incentives and rewards for paying their rent on time.

3. What do I do if I’ve already seen a home I want to rent?
That’s brilliant… please get in touch with us immediately.
Our houses are in high demand, and we’d hate for you to miss out on the home that’s caught your eye.
If you haven’t already booked a call with one of our property specialists, make sure you fill out the VIP Tenant Application Form to do so. After this, you’ll be able to book a viewing!
After you’ve had a viewing, a member of the We Love Renters team will contact you for your feedback on the property. If you still feel it’s the right fit, we can then agree all the terms with you before sending you our ‘Tenancy Application Form’.
Please don’t worry if the home you view doesn’t end up being the right fit for you, our property matching specialist will keep trying until we’ve found you the perfect home.
4. Can I decorate?
We want your home to be just that… your home.
We make it easy for you to turn your house into your own home, and we also give tenant’s incentives and rewards for keeping their home in tip-top condition.
We encourage our tenants to make their house their home, however we kindly ask our tenants to request permission when wanting to decorate or make changes to the property. We recommend receiving this permission in writing.
5. What is referencing?
Referencing is nothing to be worried about.
Understandably, our landlords need to be sure that their tenant won’t have any problems paying the rent on a monthly basis and that the tenant will take good care of their property
Tenants applying to rent with We Love Renters will be asked to give us details of their employer, income, their previous addresses and some bank account details. These will be checked to ensure that the tenant can commit to monthly rental payments.
In some circumstances, a tenant may not be approved immediately via referencing, but that’s okay! This does NOT mean you can’t get the home you want.
We understand everyone has a unique financial situation. There are still other options, so be sure to speak to one of our property specialists if you have any worries.
